New photos to the blog!

Supermoon over Raleigh by Leo Suarez

I’m excited to announce that photos from around downtown Raleigh will now be streaming to the blog—check out the sidebar!

Leo Suarez is a talented photographer and the blogger behind The Raleigh Connoisseur, a downtown Raleigh blog that covers big events, announcements, and growth challenges (like: transit, urban planning, and land use). His blog is the place to discover the city’s newest skycrapers (The Edison) and transit stations (Union Station).

I asked him to partner with Downtown Dame to bring you some great shots of life on Fayetteville Street, Glenwood South, Hargett Street, and much much more. His first photo in the gallery was taken in 2008, during the beginning of downtown’s transformation from ghost town to thriving southern metropolis.

Thanks Leo!
